WHO WE ARE

ATLANTA REVIVAL CENTER

We believe in the importance of ministry to the whole family. When there are strong families in a community they will begin to influence the city, and those cities will impact the nations.

History

Atlanta Revival Center is a local church that has been a part of the Douglas County Community since June of 1999.  God has given ARC a word to have "a heart for the city and a vision for the world". We fulfill this through being involved with both local and international ministries.

Local & International Ministries

ARC has a heart for our local community and serves through outreach events, Food Pantry, Caring Hands Ministry, PRC Medical, and various prison ministries.

We are involved in ministries around the world through our partnership with The Father’s House International. We have  children's feeding programs in Guatemala and Zimbabwe. We started a children's home in Ukraine. We help serve at The Prayer House and at the Jerusalem Institute of Studies in Bethlehem, Israel.

Mission

As an apostolic ministry, our mission is to raise up believers who are filled with the power of God, equip them to do the work of the ministry, disciple them and send them out to minister God’s love and power in the nations.

Acts 1:8, Ephesians 4:11-13, Matthew 28:18-20

Core Values

We have 12 core values that shape us as a community and define the culture we desire to create at Atlanta Revival Center.

Family

We value families, and we value the family of God! When we share love with each other, we are sharing God's heart. We aspire to bring heaven to the earth by showing love to God and to one another.

Goodness of God

God is good, always and all the time! He is a good Father, and He always has good in mind when He thinks about us. If we keep the goodness of our Heavenly Father as our focus, we will be profoundly impacted in our hearts and lives as we express who He truly is.

Joy & Hope

When we have a God who loves us so much, we live a life that is full of joy and hope. Hope is the expectation that good is coming our way. That's good news! God is the God of hope, and He loves to fill us with all joy in the Holy Spirit.  Romans 15:13

Honor

We believe that life flows through honor. As we hold to the value of honoring others, life is released to the whole Body of Christ. Because we are sons and daughters of God, we recognize the glory of God that hads been placed in each one of us, and we are all individual expressions of who He is.

Risk & Faith

We believe that risk and faith go hand in hand. Faith is manifested as we take risks or a step out in faith. God will challenge us at times to see if our trust is truly in Him. In this, we value the reality of God's Word, and we can stand on the absolute truths in it and see God respond.

Prophetic

We value the Rhema Word of God that is spoken to us and through us by the Holy Spirit to encourage, exhort, edify and build up others.  God is a Father who loves to speak to His children and encourage us to believe and walk in the promises He has given us!

Grace and Empowerment

When we experience a grace filled life, it empowers others to thrive around us. We believe it is better to speak words of grace and love to others to help them live in their full destiny, even if they have disappointed us.

Valuing His Presence

We value the tangible, life changing presence of God.  Without His presence we can do nothing.  We long to be touched and changed in God’s presence and know Him in a deeper more intimate way!

Releasing the Supernatural

The supernatural should be natural to every believer. We stand on God's promise that believers can lay their hands on the sick and they will recover. Our God is a miracle working God in our circumstances!

Salvation and Righteousness

We value the importance of evangelism to the lost and the discipleship of new believers. When we love people, they will want to know about the Jesus we serve!

Generosity

Generosity is just as much about receiving from God's abundance as it is about giving. We believe that it is God's heart to walk with a generous heart towards others, and it is important to give to the mission of completing the Great Commission presented in Matthew 28:16.

The Word and Revelation

We share a passion for the Word and its revealed truth. In-depth study of the Word is essential to a healthy believer's life. Reading the Bible with God is exciting, and it makes the Word come alive.

What We Believe

What We Believe

what we believe

The Father

There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent, one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Bible

The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

Jesus

The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God's Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God's Kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today, in the presence of God the Father and in His people. He is "true God" and "true man. "We are saved by God's grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit, convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters. In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live holy and minister super-naturally.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have power to be witnesses. The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy - sin, lies, sickness and torment. The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion.

The Church

The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God's love, disciple the nations, baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God. In the ever increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His overcoming bride - His church. Heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.
